What Is Amazon Fire TV? HD Digital Video and Audio Streaming Devices

Amazon Fire TV is a line of digital media players that can stream online video, music, and games to your TV. This is Amazon’s answer to other streaming players like Google Chromecast, Roku, and Apple TV.

Fire TV devices plug into any television’s HDMI port and will effectively turn the TV into a smart TV. Once connected to the internet, Fire TV has access to thousands of channels and apps. No cable or satellite required.

Stream free TV shows and movies from channels like Pluto TV, Tubi, IMDb TV, and more. Access live TV, news, and sports with subscriptions to Sling, YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T Now, and others. More that 500,000 TV episodes and movies are available with subscriptions to Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV, SHOWTIME, HBO, and more.

Fire TV has access to millions of songs through Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, and iHeartRadio. Subscription fees may apply.
